Fall In Love With These New Recipes

Published 7 months ago • 3 min read

Hi Fellow Dessert Lovers!

Welcome back to all the existing subscribers, and HELLO to all the new ones! We are officially in Fall season which means I am sure you have seen pumpkins, apples, cinnamon, maple, pecans, and so much more in recipes, candles, scents...I mean the list goes on and on!

Today's Newsletter has a bit of everything. While the last Newsletter shared all things Halloween and Fall, this Newsletter is a wrap up of recipes I had been working on for a few months and the timing isn't...ideal. But they are good recipes and I know you will love them if you give them a try!

So here we go!

New & Updated Recipes!

New! Mexican Hot Chocolate Brownies

A bit of spicy with a bit of chocolate sweetness, these Mexican Hot Chocolate Brownies are packed with the traditional flavors of Mexico.

New! Coconut Macadamia Banana Bread

The taste of sweet coconut alongside macadamia nuts and banana bring you this delicious and fluffy bread for all to enjoy!

Updated! Apple Pie Cookies

These Apple Pie Cookies has brown butter, cinnamon and a delicious apple pie filling in the middle, and then topped with a crumb streusel.

Time for my favorite part of the Newsletter...The Dessert Vault! This section dives into what recipes I am currently working on, along with any decorating tutorials.

The Dessert Vault

Dark Chocolate Toffee Pretzel Cookies Revamp - This recipe is ready! On the last newsletter I was working through getting it updated and I finally did! I tested it, took my video and photos, the works...and then I went to final edits and the photos are lackluster in my opinion. So I will be photographing again in the next week so I should have these to you on the next Newsletter!

Halloween Tutorials - The first Halloween tutorial is live! Yay! The second tutorial is about halfway done and for all you royal icing sugar cookie dessert lovers. I have a few piping tutorials I want to work on but quite honestly I think that is all I am going to be able to accomplish this Halloween season. I can never find the time to create and share all my ideas, but I do hope to get at least 2 or 3 out before Halloween comes.

Halloween Candy Bar Cookies / Brownies - with Halloween fast approaching we are all going to have some leftover candy to try and find places to go! The idea with the cookies is to modify my existing Monster Mash Cookies to incorporate candy bars, but I have also been itching to create a fudgy brownie and I think this would be a perfect place to add some Halloween candy bars.

Homemade Cinnamon Apple Banana Bread - I have a lot of banana bread in my house because my son eats one almost every day. This has worked in favor because once they begin to show brown spots he will not eat them - and gives me the chance to experiment! Although I do recognize I need to begin making other types of breads and venture away from banana bread...hehehe.

On My Bake List

Welcome to my new section! This section highlights other food bloggers amazing recipes that caught my eye and I hope to give a try.

Life Update

School is steady and going for the kids and they have adjusted well (and so have I!). We just celebrated two birthdays back to back birthdays as well which was a ton of fun but also very time consuming. Recipes and decorating had to take a major backseat the last 2 weeks so I could get all that done to the best of my ability. But now it's over and all I have to focus on is baking, recipes and....SEO. Yikes!

The last week or so I have spent glued to my screen reading articles about SEO, along with listening to Podcasts (Food Blogger Pro Podcast) and let me tell you my brain is tired! LOL For all of you who are food bloggers, or thinking about food blogging, I highly recommend reaching out to my sweet friend Kayla from Broken Oven Baking! She has a coaching program for food bloggers and she truly is a wealth of knowledge. Kayla started me on the path to learning and correctly managing my food blog, and I am forever grateful to her! All that I have learned and am learning has been from Kayla's guidance and expertise!

Thanks for reading this far, and until next time!
